Marisol Tanner is less than excited when her father moves their family into the old, creepy Maynard Hotel while he works in the near by town of Ortho in Connecticut. She's thankful for the trip taking place during Summer, but she is still miserable. As soon as she lays eyes on the Gothic Style building, a   distinct sinking feeling fills her body- a feeling that never goes away. She is sure they are the only people staying there, apart from the manger and staff, but she continuously sees people everywhere. They never stay around long enough to talk, but that doesn't stop Marisol. How far will one girl go to uncover secrets and to get answers that she realizes she never wanted to begin with?
