Everyone who died was brought back to life after Takemichi once again died, waking up in 2003 before Shinichiro died, giving him a chance to save even the people he couldn't save to help Mikey not fall down the wrong path once again, but he soon realized that he was the reason why everyone kept dying. So after Toman was disbanded, Takemichi found out lost his powers and didn't have the chance to go back into the future, causing him to go into hiding, with the fact that he found out that if he stayed, he's just going to bring disaster along. Naoto and Hinata Tachibana, and the Toman spent the 7 years until 2013 looking for him when they were suddenly finally given a lead of where he is. Which was in Yokohama.
