Originally from Fontaine, since you are part bird your family has been seen as outcasts since being part animal isn't very common nor is being part bird. Being part cat or dog is more socially acceptable.  your family is the only known bird kind left after the rest were hunted and a law was passed that you couldn't be hunted any more. Unusually your wings grew bigger than others and you didn't grow tail feathers.
Having wings you tend to run into more accidents then usual, meaning you've messed up a lot with out meaning to. 
After having to preform music and acts with your wings, you accidentally played to quickly infront of a crowd you were fired and sold. You managed to get away but ended up getting shot in the wing by a fatui helping transport you, you mange to get away and end up crash landing near dawn winery.
