After recent problems involving (y/n)'s leading to her parents to get two life term sentences in federal prison, (y/n) decides to move from NYC to the small town of Encanto to live with her aunt and uncle. Unknown to the young lady the people in charge of Encanto aka the Madrigals may give off friendly vibes and are really welcoming to her are quite sinister. (y/n) soon realizes that the madrigals help the towns people but at a price putting many into debt that they will never be able to recover from because the madrigals also oversee the town's revenue. What happens to (y/n) manages to catch the unwanted attention of a certain Madrigal boy, that wants her and will stop at nothing to have her.
