This is the story of how we found out. At first it was just us three, a cold June morning, a hyper maths class, and a beloved teacher. Why do bad things happen to good people? A question that his boy is making himself more then ever this days. From the beginning we see a 17 year old boy, struggling to finish high School, filled up with insecurities, mental health issues, a toxic family home, and impossible standards to live up to. He has learn to not only hate his life, but to want finish it off as fast as possible. Close to finally graduating high school his English teacher, Mr Steve, assigns the class a special progect. "To be able to see life through different eyes, and write about it." For this, Mr Steve gets his class to assist a hospital 3 times a week, and assigns each student, with a patient. This is the moment where this boy meets Royal, a cancer sick 17 year old girl, that has lived in a hospital her hole life, but still finds beauty and meaning in it. Through out the report the boy gets more and more involved in Royal's life, spending unfortunately moments together. But through out the journey he asks himself more and more. That's how it went for me, one quick flash and my life was completely derailed I see the beautiful bridesmaids and the cute little flower girl, walking down the isle. Then I saw a handicapped stranger sitting on a wheelchair at the bridal stage. My eyes meet his immediately as i stand by the door. I froze, feeling my heartbeat quicken.
