In a distant kingdom, Emilia Rolea, a girl who had turned 18, has to try to survive the endless war of her kingdom with the neighboring kingdom, in which reigned an evil and bloodthirsty king, who did not mind killing innocent people in order to make Emilia's kingdom ashes.
But with her coming of age, Emilia now enjoys privileges she didn't have before, since she was the daughter of the most famous writers of the kingdom. But her whole pink world falls apart when her older brother Mateo has to go to the battlefield.
At that precise moment she hatches a plan with her best friend Estefania, to conquer the prince of her nation and marry him, and after having obtained the great power of being in the prince's heart, to force him to end the war.
But what will happen when her plan goes awry and she turns out to be the one who falls in love?
What will happen when someone dear to her betrays her and throws her to the wolves?
And what path will Emilia take when she has to choose which path leads her to death and which leads her to life? Will that path be with her beloved prince or with her nation's worst enemy?
