Acacia is the girl that hates everything, ESPECIALLY winter. She doesn't mean to be as cynical and hateful as she is but she simply can't help it. Acacia feels like a part of her dies in the winter and resurfaces like a flower in spring. She has been close to fully freezing before, but somehow she always manages to make it through the harsh winters. But Acacia's life hasn't been going as planned since the winter started and she is closer that she has ever been to freezing completely.

Then comes Miles the boy who no one knows and eludes the memories of all. He is unimportant and easy to forget, though he is one of the sweetest people ever to exist. But he has a dark side that no one knows about and it is taking over the good parts of him quicker than he thinks.

While the winter works at freezing Acacia's soul, Miles is the only one that has the ability to save her. He has the power to stop Acacia from freezing all together or to force her to freeze for good. But can he save Acacia and himself as well or will they both get lost in the winter's wrath?
