All her life, Pandora has been told stories of the day she was born, about how there was a box gifted and a curse cast, but that's where the details ended. The one thing specified for her was that she was never to open that box, under any circumstances.
At the age of five, she falls upon her first friend, Layth, she is eager to escape the pressures of being a princess and instead be a child for once. In a game of hide and seek, the two find the taboo Box and are unable to resist its whispers of temptation and make the mistake of doing the unspeakable.
Years later, Pandora is guilt-ridden by the consequences of her actions - her once kind population becoming more toxic each day that passed. After parting with her now most beloved friend, she embarks on the perilous journey through the luscious Seven Sities of her precious kingdom, Spiros to find the sources of evil in it and for a way to eliminate them as she prepares for the inevitable day she becomes Queen.
