"yea"

"oh that old thing it's nothing"
Marley insanity turned red she was terrified
what if her best friend found out
what if she told her mum
she had so many questions spinning in her head as lani looked at her in shock
"is this true?"
"ummmmmm...."
she had to make up an excuse
"NO it was to get attention "
"from?"
oh no what should she say....
she felt like telling her the truth but she knew it wouldn't end well but she honestly had no excuse
Marley trembled on her words as she said

lani looked confused but handed her over the notebook and walked back to her house.
Marley was in shock where did she even find it she thought she hid it. She knew lani didn't believe her. Marley went to bed that night crying like she always does. She knew if she didn't plan a better excuse for when her mum finds out she's done for.
For the next few days she didn't come to school she was scared if lani would ask about the notebook again. She was trying to figure out why lani thought she was lying not like it was obvious anyway.
Until she released
"FOR FUCK SAKE!"
she said the book was old its January the 1st.
THE FIRST OF 2020 OMG. she called it old and guess what ofc the book had to say 2020 on it plus it even had the dates on all the pages. UGH she knew she fucked up but she rlly didn't wana admit it.
