Ten years ago, the world was ravaged by storms of fire, sending down flares and lighting up cities. Destruction like The Burning has never been seen before. It ate up our forests, swallowed our crops, and killed our livestock, our pets, and our people. It left us scarred, images burned mentally into our brains of the burns physically done to our world and ourselves.
Tyn is no stranger to the mental burns left behind. Forced to aid his parents in their underhanded schemes throughout the makeshift hospitals set up, his facial photographic memory has never forgotten the horrors he saw. Now, at 17, he is still struggling to escape the nightmares of the weeks following The Burning. But when a shady third party business starts asking for his help, he must dig up old memories of those faces to help them find the spark of The Burning.
