Catelyn Walker is a member of the Glacier Pack in Kalispell Montana. She is what many would refer to as a werewolf but the correct term is keeper. She is certain of her duty which is to protect the packs territory from anyone and anything that may cause it harm. There is one thing she isn't so sure about though. Whats more important: The happiness of her and her friends or keeping the pack traditons. Breaking the pack rules could mean banishment but is she willing to risk it? Is it better to leave the pack and a life of unhappiness behind or stay and protect the people and things that she loves while being unhappy? Or is there possibly a middleground? Could she challenge the pack elders without causing the entire system to crumble ? Is there a way she could have everything she wants? Read to find out!!!

Ayn is a witch with healing powers. Shapeshifters have killed her parents and the only animals she cannot speak with are wolves. When she graduates from the Teaching Clan and finds out that she has to cross the River and live in the Wolves' Mountains for one year, she is less than amused. Kari, first-born shapeshifter Alpha, almost lost his wolf after the death of his mate. He could rise again and become the pack leader if only he would complete his training ...and find another suitable Luna. When he realizes that his second chance is his mother's guest, a daydreaming stubborn witch from across the River, he is less than amused. The bond may be a strong force, but can a witch walk the Wolves' Way and face the dangers it is paved with? **** "I need to stop..." I sigh, catching her wrist before her fingers reach the back of my neck, and I untangle her arm from me. She lingers on the recliner but now there is a big gap between our bodies. The warmth she left on my skin is quickly dissipating in the spring night. "Fine." Ayn stands and searches my eyes. Her scowl has my wolf whimper in submission and makes me curse my self-imposed hard line. "I am going to need your hoodie," she orders, stretching her hand out to me. "What?" I exclaim, briefly shocked by both the tone and the content of her words. My hands however are already executing her command, unzipping my jacket. "The last time I was able to sleep, I was covered with your hoodie. Your scent is comforting." She states it plainly as if it would be an obvious and broadly known fact. Like the Earth being round. Like two being a prime number. #1 in Healer - December 2021 #7 in Lycan - December 2022 ~95 000 words Cover photo by Jr Korpa via Unsplash Cover photo by Marc-Olivier Jodoin via Unsplash hi
