Could it be linked to the killing on a girl she knew, that she found dead, bloody and yet unhurt, in her new school?
Why is grandmother Evelyn telling her bed-stories of a girl who has to 'Join The Two.'?
Things are in a constant blur, games of wits being played under Cathen's nose, and she finds herself helplessly reaching an unknown destination. Until...

In the state of Pennsylvania, nineteen year old Evelynn (19) was a bit of an outcast. Its her senior year and she did her best to fit in at school but being the black sheep of her family didn't make her life any easier as it was hard to confide in the ones who raised her whereas her younger sister was perfect at everything. School, making friends, the student council president, and dating the most popular jock in school. She tended to keep to herself, at school and at home, it hurt her heart feeling like she couldn't find her place until one evening on her late night jog, Evelynn can feel eyes watching her and by the time her gaze fell upon the shadow figure, she woke up in a ditch on the outskirts of town, her clothes bloody and all her senses strengthened times a hundred.
