"Yren," He said in a reverent whisper.

He was enchanting, so fragile and curious as he leaned his head towards Rivaille upon hearing his voice. A rare smile graced the merman's lips, and reached up, careful and gently to touch the flailing hands that seemed to be reaching towards him. He had to fight the urge to take the baby and drag him to the ocean-his home, but he had a deal and the raven wasn't one to go back on his word.

He'd have to wait; only a few more years and they would be together as it was from the past.
