When the metaphorical traffic light of Elena's life finally turns green, she's given a thumbs up to go to high school. A year locked away from everyone can really mess with your head, even if your head was already messy.
Her old school won't accept her back so she is transferred to the only regular school that will accept her after missing a year. What happens when she finds out, in her year of isolation, that her childhood best friend is the popular boy at that school? And the principal's pet has it in for her.
