It all started with a brick to the head, but how is that connected to the rest of the story?
Joe is a nineteen year old who just got out of the hospital after six months. He had promised his best friend that he would visit her in the hospital every day. But as he struggles to keep it, he meets three girls who all seem to need his help in some way. He tries to help them, but along the way he is becoming close to all four of them and his bad memory is getting in the way.
All four of them are little dots in his life that he can't seem to connect. Which means that they are unconnected, right? Starting and ending with a brick to the head, Joe can't even wrap his head around his own story.

[Finished] This is where all the timelines from 'That Homeless Boy' series link together as a form of one single timeline from Kai's perspective. If you haven't noticed, all of my books starting with 'In Need of' are connected by the name of a boy called Kai, these books are all part of a series called 'That Homeless Boy'. In this book, you shall find his whole life written in here in only his perspective. I would advise you to read the other books first. This book just sums them all up into a nicer timeline which might clear up some questions you might have after reading the other books. The order of the books is said in their blurbs. He was different than the rest of the world. For the first time, a person wanted to know about the scars on Kira's heart than the ones on her wrists. She doesn't trust him at all. She wants absolutely nothing to do with Logan,but somehow he finds a way to meddle his way into her life. And when he figures out more about Kira,he's more than shocked. He doesn't see a girl who hates the entire world ,but hates herself even more. He doesn't see a fat, ugly, whore when gazing into her eyes. He sees a girl who's been wronged by the world left and right. He sees a girl who cares music more than she cares about her own life. He sees a person who needs love. But not everyone who you try to save ends up being saved in the end. Sometimes it's just too late. As Kira always says ,"Happily ever after was so once upon a time." This book does not promote self harm or suicide. And it also doesn't romanticize it. It simply is a story about two broken people on a quest to fix one another and mange to somehow fall in love with each other along the way. FYI THIS IS NOT A FAN FICTION!
