Hurricane, son of Tsunami and Riptide, has been enjoying a nice easy-going life with his parents as well as his sisters, Ripple and Splash, despite the fact that he is an animus, a dragon capable of brilliant amazing magic, as well as one of the most dangerous things that can be done to a dragon. One day, however, the Dragonets of Destiny open up a new winglet in Jade Mountain Academy, the Titanium Winglet, and Hurricane is thrilled to see his sisters, who had gone there earlier. When he gets there, he meets lots of new friends both within and outside his tribe. However, danger lurks as well. He can somehow sense this danger and transfers all his power into a single bracelet, a gift from a new friend. To make matters more stranger, one of his new friends uttered a very strange prophecy. Everyone knows the legend. "When the war has lasted twenty years," the Dragonets of Destiny will arrive to bring an end to decades of bloodshed, and Pyrrhia will finally know peace. But these are not the same dragonets you know. Starflight was blessed to have been born with the ability to read minds and see the future. With powers like these, he was sure to lead his friends to their destiny of ending the war. But when a new prophecy emerges, and a dark secret is revealed, he is faced with a choice: give up a lifetime of happiness for him and his friends, or sever the threads of fate, and cast the world into a doomed existence... When discovering a past that had been thought been long lost in the scorching, River may finally have a chance to fight back against the world, but even the most tragic consequences can be caused by good intentions. Wings of Fire: Buried Beginnings (Book 2)
COVER ART IS BY ME AU Series in place of book 15. Follows closely after the events of book 14. Dragon aging is different in this series- ages up to 8 are dragonet, 9 to 12 is teenager, 12 to 20 is young adult, 20+ is adult. This excuses any questions about aging. Jeweldreamer considers himself to be quite the character, from his hatching to now. He and his friends are off to catch a murderer- or not. When the truth comes out, the group ventures back home only to run into Aconi's mother- Rosetta. On their way home- while Jeweldreamer is distracted- he stumbles upon something from the past that will change the future- forever. As the dragons' true colors fly, Jeweldreamer unravels the lies and ambitions of his friends, loved ones, and enemies. All he can hope for is the best, but it is far to come. Backstabbing truths and comforting lies, in the end, your opptimism dies.Terminé
