And your stories should do the same. Wattpad is full of writers who have great story ideas but very little training in the skills required to craft an amazing story that really sucks a person in. Which means we end up with endless stories that promise amazing plots but can't deliver on that promise. Not to worry, though. We're about to change all of that. When you read a book, what attracts you the most? Book cover? - most of the time Reads? - maybe, maybe not. Plot? - It depends. I'll say it's Storytelling which attracts readers the most. It is writer's imagination, choice of words that keep us hooked till the end. But how to write a story which no one can afford to ignore? Wanna know? Peep into the book then.

So, books. I've read a bunch of them. I also have strong opinions about them. Why not share it with the internet? (Don't worry, it's spoiler-free.)

I'm going to attempt to write a short story every day for a year. I just decided to load them onto Wattpad. Feel free to follow the journey, comment on the stories, and if you have any good writing prompts, I'd love to hear them. This is PART TWO, as I just found out there is a limit to how many chapters can be in a story on Wattpad.

In a town with the one hardest question to answer for the last twenty years, who is the murderer? Everyday someone complains of articles written about them saying they died sometime back but were actually saved. Rumors go around saying there's an enemy plotting against this town by creating these articles. Then a girl has dreams everyday of her life of her falling from the sky and can never understand why. Eventually she finds out they're not dreams anymore but her reality. She finds a newspaper that shows her all the deaths of the past which she aims to stop and does. A tragedy happens when she discovers she had to save herself from dying,but how? In this crime and thriller with a bit of romance and teen drama, we unfold a story of a town with many mysteries, will they be solved? Will she save all lives including hers?

Do you find yourself writing he nodded, she shook her head, he shrugged, over and over again? It gets tedious, and doesn't help at all when it comes to pin pointing your character's actual emotions. So I've made a book using notes I've been collecting over a few years to help you chose an alternative way to show that your character is angry, or sad, etc, plus many other writing tips and resources. Doesn't, he blinked at his watch, read better than, he looked at his watch ? Doesn't, he slugged across the wet cement, read better than, he walked down the street slowly. Avoid the white room in your story and replace telling with showing to give your readers a much better experience. **** When Alice storms across the room instead of walks, we know she's angry. We're expecting suspense. We're waiting for the next action. Maybe she'l punch a wall? Shout at her friend? Much better than, Alice walked across the room angrily, which gives your reader nothing to imagine.
