In the reality you know, a young boy named Naruto lived alone all his life, hated by the very village he was born in for housing a demon inside. He became a great shinobi, defeating many foes, even became Hokage. Years later he even had children of his own.
But what would happen if Naruto didn't live alone all his life? What if he had someone to take care of him, to guide him when possible, to check in when he needed it?
In another reality, a young ANBU member named Kakashi Hatake took in the small boy at a young age, trying to be an older person to guide him where he needed it, so that he didn't grow up alone.
