17 year old Alisha Kumar is living a craptastic life. Like every other main character ever, she has an awful home situation, and one of the people most important to her is dead. Despite her tragedy, she puts on a brave face at school so that no one knows what she's going through. Not her friends, not her teachers, not her family (not that they would care anyway), no one. No one except Sean Ryan. Smoky River High School's best hockey player lives on Alisha's street and has seen what she's like outside of school. The fun, playful enviorment that follows her in the halls disappears when she's walking up and down the sidewalks of Wendell Way, and Sean doesn't give much thought to it till he actually talks to her. Going through some heavy stuff himself, Sean instantly notices something is off with Alisha. Is it just a crazy coincidence that not too long after, they bump into each other at a graveyard? Or is it fate that they find each other when they both need it the most?
