"You've become such a different person now that I can see the light behind your closed doors."

Katniss Everdeen used to be that shy kid. Her friends would ghost her, and sometimes forget she was there. Until one day Katniss decides she is going to change everything. Katniss is sick of her so-called friends never hanging out with her, sick of being an outcast, and sick of hiding her true colors. But to change this she takes some wise words from her therapist, Mr. Abernathy "Get people to like you". Sounds easy enough right? It's not. Geez, this is going to be one heck of a freshman year...

Join Katniss through the twists and turns of the good, the bad, and the in-between on the road to becoming the person she wants to be.

(REUPLOADED - deleted at 3k reads) Like all children in his world, 14-year-old Finnick Odair had the chance of being chosen for the Hunger Games. In a pool stock full of names, he was just as vulnerable as anyone from the ages of 12-18. And in District Four, which often tends to produce Career tributes, its residents could only hope that this year's pair would fall under that description. On Reaping day, a 14-year-old boy's name is called. A name that is often whispered down the hallways of the local high school, giggled at, fawned over. The gasps that arose afterwards were monumental. Him, of all people? It couldn't be, could it? Yet it was. At age 14, Finnick Odair was called forth to be a tribute in the 65th annual Hunger Games. Many stood there and thought, "He's just a pretty face. How could he possibly bring home the victor's crown?" However, some people are far more than a pretty face. In fact, it's even said that those with such captivating allure are most often the ones that can catch you off guard and bring you to your knees. __________________________ Excerpt: ❝25, 24, 23...❞ I can do this.
