'"I cannot feel this way. You clearly don't feel-" "I do though." He interrupts me. I finally look up to meet his eyes. It holds so much sadness. Once they find out about my lineage, it would turn into the bloodiest war the dragons have ever fought. I don't want another war, but with the Banished Kings wanting to possess more than my body, a war seems inevitable. How long can I stall the inevitable? I have fought a bloody war before; I could fight another if needed. But with my secrets unravelling and the fate playing a silly joke with me again, would the Kings accept me after learning my truth? Or would they reject me and toss me away after having their fill of playtime with me? ~ A stand-alone book.
