The world has always been filled with supernatural people and occurrences.

Forks and La Push Washington is not different with vampires and Shifters being forced to cohabitate. But there was a greater power in the mix. Witches. They are very ancient beings who serve nature and beings of nature. Witches are known to practice in secret, but it was not always like that, they would heal people and protect them from the Cold Ones who threatened to harm them. That changed when a weapon was constructed to severely harm the witches and hindered them from protecting and healing people so they had to go into hiding out of fear of being exposed. It has been this way for centuries. That is until trouble finds them in the form of a seventeen year old girl.

Bella Swan enters Forks as naïve as any tourist. She has no idea about the school systems, the police system or the supernatural beings hiding in plain sight. Through her childhood friend and her sisters, she finds out about the protection the surrounds Forks and La Push, but knows nothing of the protectors. She finds out about her friend's unique abilities and her brooding classmate's secret.
