Uneasy Comfort.
So um this story may be on hold as I have lost interest and have no idea how to continue the story... . (Disclaimer, there is NO smut/inappropriate things, just cute and wholesome~♡ but warning, there may be some dark themes throughout.) . . This story is basically a sonic the hedghog fanfic. It's set in a dystopian reality. im still figuring out everyone's stories even the main plot. But I just go along as my mind pleases. The main 'object' that stirs this story is a plant, named the agony night floret, that infects living things. It was created accidentally in a facility by money hungry mobian scientists and main boss, scarlett the fox. she is the main 'villian', surprsingly not eggman lol. the agony night floret infects mobians, putting them in these stages. first a purple blue rash, then disconfiguration then having the chance to rott and turn into creepy lifeless zombie ish creatures, not hostile but really contagious. They roam around isolated areas. Or, they have the small chance by transforming into these cannibalistic 'flesh-gorgers', coming in different types, 3-4 times bigger than hosts/Mobians size. sonic and his friends travel firstly through the thick, white, winter forests, named 'Nobelwoods' in Nahada, trying to find the facility of where it all happened, while unexpectedly coming across a familiar haze of a huge mossy concrete structure of shadows old-old home. Burnt. It will be told why in the story. I have posted drawings of the characters/unfamiliar characters to understand better of what their appearances looks. thankz for reading this far if u have :) (I'm rambling abt the lore lol) . . . . This was a Deviantart project that I developed almost 8 years ago. I'm 23 now, but Jesus Christ...I gave this a bit of an ambitious rewrite with a couple of add-ons and a few dialogue changes that fit my current writing abilities. On Senior Prom Sonic was going to have a great time with his 'boyfriend' Knuckles. But turns out it was a set up that he framed Sonic for selling Cocaine and it worked. Once Sonic was thrown in jail, everyone who knew him abandoned him (even his own family). He turned to a life of crime (for a short while) after getting out of prison. He was broken as he felt nothing. But when he got to the hospital from attempted suicide and then to the asylum, a spark of light came when a kind hearted psychiatrist Offered him a job and a place to stay at his Orphanage (which is also a school for wayward youth) with his therapy. With the help of one girl and her best friend. A little bright blue hedgehog girl named Janice and a bright red echidna named Cassie. Things were plain but Sonic was still broken but he was hateful towards those who hurt him in the past. He changed his appearance and moved far away to a little bit old London (a little modern) style town selling good medicine for the people and working for the psychiatrist. When people (Knuckles, his family, and friends) from his past 'somehow found him' come to make things right, Sonic turns them away. Will Sonic give them a chance? Or will he just hate them for everything they did in the past?Complete
