After the previous ceremony that left a confused, scared, and disappointed town in the wake of Mirabel not receiving a gift, Antonio was meant to prove with confidence that the Madrigals and their magic remained strong. Everything was fine! The magic was strong! Everyone performed their duties to the community. Bruno performed his by hiding himself in the walls. Dolores did it by settling disputes and making people walk on eggshells when she could hear. Isabela did it by becoming betrothed to an already taken Mariano. I decided to write this story since I kept watching the movie, Encanto over and over again. This story happens 2 months after the film. The magic is restored, the miracle is back, Bruno is still with the family and he is no longer villainized by the community. All the Madrigals have their gifts back, well except Mirabel. Now the Madrigals are even more busy with all the people they need to serve. But Mirabel is still reminded that she is the only Madrigal without a gift. This deeply hurts her, but her family doesn't notice since they are all to busy. Soon , some of the family members forget what happened between her and them and they begin to treat her like they did before the film, like she was a baby. They have even forgotten everything she has done for them, the only thing they do recall is her bring the magic back. But they don't give her enough credit. The only one who notices the pain Mirabel is in is Casita. Casita is saddened and angry that everyone in the family is ignoring Mirabel, so Casita uses a special magic from the miracle to show the entire family the movie, along with a heartbreaking secret from Mirabel's past. The Madrigal's Casita will give them a proper perspective. I hope... I don't own any of the characters or songs in the story, I only own the idea of the story. The film, the characters and the songs all rightfully belong to Walt Disney. A/N: The first chapter will be told in Mirabel's point of view, the rest will al be in 3rd person point of view.Complete

At Encanto everything was finally settled down. Casìta was in perfect condition, The village was bright and joyful as ever, the family Madrigal was all reunited, included Bruno... but there are still a lot of questions and mysteries that are roaming around and of course danger. These mysteries will bring Mercedes, a girl with a special and unknown gift that lives outside the tall mountains that surrounds Encanto, towards the Madrigal. And staying by their side, she'll slowly find out that her powers are actually connected with all of their gifts and with all of the events that happened to this family. But what will happen if the family Madrigal will find out who she actually is and what she's capable of?
