Sir Guy of Gisborne is betrothed to Marian Knighton, but he is concerned that she does not share his feelings and thinks he has found evidence that she has been assisting his nemesis, Robin Hood.
However, Marian has realised that Robin will never be ready to settle down and make a home with her whilst the Sheriff rules over Nottingham and that she actually does love Sir Guy and that he is the man that she wants to spend the rest of her life with.
With Sir Guy believing that Marian does not care for him at the same time that Marian realises she wants to be Lady Gisborne will this couple make it to the church or not?

This was a follow on to my first ever attempt at fan fiction, Marian's Lessons in Love and I wrote this in 2010 having watched the BBC series of Robin Hood This story is set somewhere in the early part of season 2 of Robin Hood and is inspired by Guy & Marian.
