"There are five of us. The greatest of our order is Saruman the White. And then there are the two Blue Wizards... You know, I've quite forgotten their names." Gandalf trailed off into forgetfulness.
The two Blue Wizards were not known in the west for they wandered the east and southern parts of Middle Earth, and in turn neither was Madeline- the Istari's' somewhat capable apprentice.
She finds the "simpler happenings" of middle earth alluring, so she found good company at Gandalf's side along with her familiar and friend Qaris. With her apprenticeship with the Blue Wizards stopping at an abrupt end and her new beginning with Gandalf the Grey, the unexpected journey she embarks on to win back the kingdom under the mountain in the company of the line of Durin teaches her more than she ever could predict.
