The man she had loved for so long, the man she had waited for, was blaming her for the loss of their child. Tears welled up in her eyes, but she refused to let them fall. She had been holding on to the hope that they could heal, but this-this was the final blow. "I can't believe you're saying this," she whispered, her voice trembling.
