The only people he ever considered his family, his girlfriend, his best friend, and the last traces of his father figure and mentor Tony Stark.

Turns out, acquiring an apartment and trying to figure out how to get into college alone  sounded a lot easier when it was all in his head.

Lost and alone but glad the people he cares about are safe, Peter is slowly piecing his life back together.

But the universe isn't done playing with Peter Parker just yet.

Enter Cassandra, a beacon of light in Peter's slow spiral into darkness. She picks him up and clumsily tapes him back together again. The one thing Peter needed was a true friend in this period of his life, and Cassandra became it.
