If there is one thing that FIDEL LAURENTE believes in it is that death is inevitable. At 26, he faced the news that brought him to a traumatic moment in his life. He was diagnosed with acute lymphocytic leukemia, a condition that also took away his mother's life-at least that is what he knows.
Fidel never thought he would meet someone like RENEE AGUIRRE. A woman who suddenly changed his colorless life. The universe made Fidel and Renee's friendship as colorful as fireworks. Against all odds, they stick together. Every second feels surreal and magical as if every day is New Year's Day.
Fidel saw the beautiful life he once thought of leaving behind. However, while they're driving back to their safe place, secrets unfold. A nightmare drowned Fidel again. Something that Renee didn't see coming. A ghost from the past came back to Fidel's life.
Death is inevitable. That is what Renee believes in too. It is just a matter of how or when it will happen. A question lingers: What will Renee do now that Fidel tells her that he's going to die. Would Renee just let Fidel wait for his last day or would she stay with him until he disappeared like fireworks in the dark sky?
