Nearly two years ago Maddie Barringer's life changed forever, when she accidentally walked in on a telephone call taken by family friend, and US Senator Bill Hawkins.
Threatened with her life, or that of her family, she fled New York in a state of panic.
Forced to start a new life on the tiny Block Island she opened a small-time photographic company.
