Soul Mates used to be a big thing but when the virus spread mates started dying and people stopped wanting to meet theirs. Then the virus started breaking the mate bonds and making it to where you couldn't find your mate. And people usually only have one mate.
His problem is that he can feel three different people on the other side. And his bond with them is not weakening, if anything it's getting stronger.
He just has to find them.
