"I can't love you at all, Remus!" She yelled back as her body turned around to face him, tears rolling down both of their cheeks. 

"I can't love you, but I do." 



1993: the year Sirius Black escaped from Azkaban. It was only then that the Ministry of Magic deemed that the students of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry weren't safe enough under Albus Dumbledore's care. 

Sending four Aurors to guard the school for the year was the only way Cornelius Fudge was able to sleep at night. 

As staff and students welcomed the new school years, and the unwanted Aurors, they also welcomed their newest Defense Against the Dark Arts professor: Remus J. Lupin.
