In a province where nothing interesting ever happens, no one hears the pleas of a teenager's heart that is slowly crumbling to pieces.

Jiro Castaneda's life started to go downhill when she became an outcast in her senior year. The school which used to be her escape from her abusive household became another prison she couldn't escape from. Drinking and smoking became her coping mechanism as the once timid girl now goes to class drunk and smokes without any fear for her future.

And that's exactly the type of people that Dani Burzuelo despises. Dani is also fed up with his life. He had enough of his controlling father and his rebellious sister. For once, he just wants to live his life the way he wants. That's why Jiro's behavior which reminds him of his sister made him dislike her.

When their lives start to get entangled, they will soon learn that they're just the same wounded souls hiding behind their own facades. They just have different ways to mask their pain.
