"Kiss me."

"What? Scooter, you're drunk."

"So are you." Scooter grabs my wrists and tugs me closer to him. The space between us shrinking, "Please."

"Scott."

"Jessica."

"You're drunk. You aren't serious." I whisper.

Scooter's usually playful face twists into a serious one, his eyes hardening, "I'm deadly serious right now."

Fuck.

What am I even supposed to do in this situation?

But no matter their differences, she's his Sweets, and he won't be letting LA or the world eat her up, no matter how easy she makes it or how hard they try. - Disclaimer: I write my books with my own understanding that I am using the peoples' names and circumstances, but the books are based in a completely alternate universe.
