But Jess has a revelation. This year is their final one at Eden Hall, their final year before college. Before possible separation. They say senior year is when you truly find yourself, maybe they'll find each other. ~~~~~~ "Kiss me." "What? Scooter, you're drunk." "So are you." Scooter grabs my wrists and tugs me closer to him. The space between us shrinking, "Please." "Scott." "Jessica." "You're drunk. You aren't serious." I whisper. Scooter's usually playful face twists into a serious one, his eyes hardening, "I'm deadly serious right now." Fuck. -----Currently Rewriting----- If you run into a wall of text, that's the old version. You're good up to chapter 27 💕 In a town that thrives on labels, one girl has always played the role expected of her: polite daughter, star dancer, perfect student. Eddie, once her closest friend, has become the town's cautionary tale-long hair, loud music, a family name people whisper about. Reunited by chance, they're forced to reckon with who they've become and the weight of everything they've lost. But the town isn't the only thing keeping them apart. Beneath the surface, a darker world is stirring-one that won't let either of them stay the same. ----------WARNING---------- This story is meant for 18+ audiences only. This story contains: Many mature topics. Including mentions of suicidal thoughts, unwanted sexual advances, etc. Copious amounts of profanity, sarcasm, and borderline edgy jokes. Descriptions of gore and violence. Some gushy, fluffy shit. Some very silly, likely cringey shit. Spoilers for Season 4 of Stranger Things. -------------------- This is an Eddie Munson fanfic.
