When 14-year-old Charlotte Whittaker hears a knocking on her 14th story bedroom window, she assumes it's wind. After all, winter in New York can get pretty crazy. But never would she have expected a boy her age-- who acts as if he's from the 1700's-- to crawl through. On top of that, he claims to be able to fly, have a pixie sidekick, AND a rebellious shadow that just won't stay near him. And when he offers to take her and her brothers on "an adventure of a lifetime," she is justifiably hesitant. What she doesn't know is that this adventure, or more, this mysterious boy, could change her life forever.
Waking up in the body of a Romani Archiman is acceptable. Getting 3rd and 1st True Magics is nice. Getting Beasts as pets - delightful. The world of DxD is unforgivable. It's a world where some teenagers who aren't even two decades old somehow mystically defeat the descendants of legendary heroes, ancient demons, powerful dragons, etc. Why does this happen? Simply because! Simply put, this world only makes sense because it doesn't. And now, I have to put up with the fact that I live here. Such pain. (DxDxMulti)
