Eighteen years after the last Selection, after the fall of the castes and the Selection itself, a new heir prepares for the throne. Shalen Schreave is ready to be king, but what would he be king of? His father's kingdom is slowly crumbling as the Sotutherners and the old upper castes andalliance themselves together against the new kingdom. (ik in the heir it's said eadlyn had the first girl selection but I'mma change that and alot of things so just know I'll break some rules from the books) America's parents didn't want to marry off her to get allegiance but they think she should be a queen. so when she turns 17 they suggest the idea of a selection for her. maxon is a five and a photographer. he's has always thought that the princess was really beautiful with her icy blue eyes and red hair like roses and honey and the sun.
