A Big Book of Short Stories

While most could have been cared for and nurtured until they grew into fully fledged books, they have only matured halfway, creating a efficient way to get stuck in your head. You were always an introvert even if your family was outgoing so during the break from online school due to bullying almost having you trying to make you take your own life, your parents thought it would be good to let you have some fun. A family camping trip with your parents, cousins, aunts, uncles, and grandparents sounds fun but you don't like crowds, loud noises, or doing crazy things. You liked it quiet indoors with books, movies, video games, or playing by yourself outside away from other kids. Feeling unheard, you sneak off into the woods to sulk but everything changes when you see something fall from the sky and land just by the lake then you go to find... a weird-looking pink watch that doesn't even tell time. Not know, it does so much more... Say hello to your new friends.

Life has evolved and more technologies appeared. The internet is the main brain of these technologies, but that doesn't mean that it's safe. It is said that we are only using 10% to 15% of the entire internet, so where is the left of it that's the question. That's not the main point the point is how people could use the internet. Some could use it for social life, some could use it for doing research and some could use it to track you down and know every single move you do. They could hear everything, know your next destination. Maybe now you're being followed and tracked down by someone but you just don't know. Just as the characters in the story. The story is based on possible events that could occur in these days. Nobody knows what's out there on the internet, and what's in people's minds. You thought your phone was broken when it read nine-forty-three in the morning while it was pitch black outside. One look at social media gave you all the information you needed to know what was happening. The sun was gone. Everywhere, in every state, city, country. Not only that, but people were making up all kinds of excuses for why it was missing. Yet, with each hour that passed, it kept worsening. People began looting in major cities, creating mobs to rush important buildings or block off busy roads. You, living in a semi-large city, could hear the sounds from afar; until those sounds turned to screaming, yelling, running. There were things out there. Things that wanted to hurt you. People that wanted to hurt you. Will daybreak ever come again? Or was this new, apocalyptic setting forever your new reality? ...And why did a masked, bloodied, man just break into your bathroom?
