The families, Madrigals and Estrellas have been very close friends since Alma and (GM/N) were best friends when they were young. Both families were blessed with gifts to help people and each other when in need. They lived together in Casita and had their own rooms with glowing doors. Mirabel saw the cracks on Casita, doors flickering, and the magical candle almost went out during her little cousin Antonio's Ceremony.
