After the previous ceremony that left a confused, scared, and disappointed town in the wake of Mirabel not receiving a gift, Antonio was meant to prove with confidence that the Madrigals and their magic remained strong. Dolores did it by settling disputes and making people walk on eggshells when she could hear. Isabela did it by becoming betrothed to an already taken Mariano.
