Beretta Orse works at a pretty well know tattoo shop with her brother and their friends. Scotty Sire is one of her favorite clients and they're great friends. One day Scotty finally comes in for a tattoo and he brings in some friends. One of them happens to fall for the girl but she couldn't tell, girl has been through all the toxic and bad relationships that she didn't know good ones were real. At least not real for her.

And even if you are near your match, as long as one of you are not of age, your tattoo will not tingle. Also, they are normal tattoos (except you don't get it or choose it, it just appears) so you can get rid of it. But if you do, your sm won't die but they will get very sick. The main characters of this story, Violet West (18) and Harper Black (20), both have a flame tattoo on their cheek. They live in the same state but for 4 years Harper paniced because she couldn't find her match. She wasn't sure if it was because her sm wasn't of age yet or if her sm lived far away.
