Beretta Orse works at a pretty well know tattoo shop with her brother and their friends. Scotty Sire is one of her favorite clients and they're great friends. One day Scotty finally comes in for a tattoo and he brings in some friends. One of them happens to fall for the girl but she couldn't tell, girl has been through all the toxic and bad relationships that she didn't know good ones were real. At least not real for her.

He looked in the window and saw (In his best friend's words) an "Emo in the wild" tattooing someone. He makes a bouquet for him and places it on his porch step. He almost dropped his coffee the following day when he saw an oil pastel drawing on his welcome mat from the tattoo artist.
