Bella head towards where they're going, carefully stepping along the craggy rocks. When suddenly, one of the rock she step into knocks her off balance. She trip on a rocky out crop and stumble toward the ground, when someone steps in to catch her. "Whoa." Says the guy who catch her Bella reached out her arm going around his neck as he folds her safely into his arms. When she opens her eyes and turns up to look at who catches her. Ezra's face comes into view. So close to her face. Her arms are still around Ezra's neck. She abruptly take her hands off him and put a space between them, she stands up straight.. "Thank you." She utters to Ezra in a whisper. She looks ahead to see if their friends saw what just happened between her and Ezra. To her relief they're continuing the trek. The dreams we shared for our future together? I turned away, my steps aimless, my mind blank. I wasn't walking toward anything-I was running away from everything. My life, as I knew it, ended here. The ring in my bag felt like a cruel mockery now, a reminder of dreams that would never come true. Maybe I was never meant for happiness.
