A Light Switched On in the Dark

Against all odds, five players ended up surviving the 2020 Squid Game. Each of them has a different goal upon being released.

Gi-hun, forever changed by the games, strives to be the best dad and son he can be. Sang-woo, deeply ashamed by the crimes he's now exonerated for, tries to find a way back to his dear mother. Sae-byeok, just recently an adult, must learn to open her heart more as she adjusts to her new life. Ali, deeply traumatized by what he witnessed, must find a way to bring his family back together. Ji-yeong, having had nothing to live for, has no idea what she wants to do with her newfound freedom. And though their lives are separate, there is no question about the bond that they now share.
