Gabriella is the only Omega vampire that has existed since the Mikaelson's were turned...the only one that survived more than a few weeks anyway.

No one ever really turned Omegas and the few that did ended up alone since the Omega wouldn't kill anyone to feed, it wasn't in their nature.  It was seemingly just an unspoken rule that Omegas were never turned, a rule that even the Mikaelson's followed.

In his human life Klaus had loved an Omega, had wanted his own Omega, wanted a family and pups and a happily ever after with an Omega but when he was turned that all disappeared with the alluring scent that he would never again smell.  He held onto the idea for nearly 100 years but he knew that in the end his dream had died along with his body the day he became a vampire.

"We are very, very old vampires." I drop the dress, and the butler looks up in fear. My movements are as fast as a striking snake, tearing out his throat in such a swift movement there's barely any mess. I look into his eyes as he raises his hands to his neck, falling to the ground in a light thump.
