This is a second person story (x reader) for the readers pleasure!
One of the perks of being a barista for a small coffee shop is that you get to meet people that you otherwise wouldn't. One such person is Dr. Otto Octavius, a nuclear physicist buried in his obsession for his work. However, when an experiment he's been working on goes wrong, you're met with a completely different version of Octavius. He's no longer how you know him - or so you think.

Until one day the chips turned into a crack, and Peter fell into it headfirst An unfocused Peter dealt with by a severe head injury, and after nearly 2 and a half years of dealing with the spider, one of their closest fights to date results in an injured Doc Ock fleeing back to his lair, barely avoiding a proper defeat. Now, contrary to popular belief, Doctor Octopus wasn't always as cruel as he is today. So when a shaken and severely injured Spiderman stumbles onto his doorstep rambling about not remembering, and begging for help? When he learns that the man stopping his plans at every turn, that he was determined to slaughter, is merely a child in over his head?
