One of the perks of being a barista for a small coffee shop is that you get to meet people that you otherwise wouldn't. One such person is Dr. Otto Octavius, a nuclear physicist buried in his obsession for his work. However, when an experiment he's been working on goes wrong, you're met with a completely different version of Octavius. He's no longer how you know him - or so you think.
