You just broke up with your boyfriend, while you thought he was about to propose, he actually told you about his new relationship with a coworker of yours. You decided to go to New York to figure something else out.

Jude felt like he is starting to get a hold of himself. He moved upstate to get some change after what happened with his wife and his mother. He also needed a place to raise his son safely.
