in this story hopes peak high is a school for teens who get arested. the government wanted to give young delicuants a chance at an educaiton so they set up this school. their first year there is the killing game. this time period is used to scare the students out of continueing to commit crimes while at the school for the next two years. for the remaining two years the students learn like normal.
