Its the summer of 1966 in New York City and women are starting to flood the grounds of the workforce. Melanie Addams becomes the first woman to be hired as senior director at James P. Morris advertising company. 

Melanie attempts to juggle the life of being a career-driven feminist while also striving for love and equality in a time of a chauvinistic society. Men in 1966 outside and even inside the office have opposition to this new wave of feminism. 

Men like Micheal Alexander King who is the president of James P. Morris advertising company have very strong opinions about the new rise of female employment. 

However, Mickey and Melanie have an interesting encounter despite their hostile views of one another they meet unexpectedly at NYC's most exclusive restaurant The Fate Street Avenue.
