Ajani is a prince who has to get married. The problem is that he's uncomfortable around most people and is really not excited to find a person with whom he'll have to spend the rest of his life. His parents requested that his choice was made before June, which was merely 3 months away. Having no idea how to get close to anybody for that matter, he decides to throw a ball.

Ines is a sweet girl who had a somewhat rough upbringing. Absent parents are at least good at teaching one thing: know how to do stuff by yourself because no one is going to do it for you. Ines undoubtedly knows that now. At the moment, all her efforts are focused on offering a normal childhood to her 7-year-old sister. For Ines the best way to achieve that is by sending her sister at her grandmother's house. Unfortunately, despite generously accepting to welcome the little girl in her home, the grandmother is far too poor to cover the expenses of two people. A good heart doesn't pay the bills. Therefore, Ines begins looking for a job, preferably a well-paying job. It seems that luck is on her side because a ball is organized in the neighbouring city.
