Following the destruction of Asgard, Zelda, along with her brothers, Thor and Loki, is travelling back to Earth in the hope they can resettle their people and she can finally return back to the Kamar-Taj after being gone for the last few months.

Samuel is the son of the Sorcerers Supreme and has take on the job of Master of the London Sanctum. After he defeated Dormammu and his followers, losing his mother in the process, he continues doing what he's always done, protecting his dimension from the threats posted by others. Link continued his studies there, unknowing of Asgard's current state. Neither of them knew where Zelda was or when she was coming back.

As much as Zelda can try to pay back her karma, there is only so much she can do. She played a part in the Battle of New York, Thanos doesn't care whether she wants to be involved with this or not.

He doesn't care about anyone, he has a mission, and he will do whatever it takes to complete it. Unfortunately, there are some individuals who feel the same way, and will do whatever it takes to stop him.
