After conquering the Pleiades Watchtower, Subaru rests in the green room, physically and mentally exhausted. He is devoured by a shadow, which swallows him and causes him to lose consciousness. When he awakens, he finds himself in the same place where he was summoned to another world more than a year ago, but he is not alone. What if, during Arc 8, when Subaru and his allies face Sphinx and the undead, everything falls apart. The undead spiral out of control, turning on everyone. they have started to eat and infecting everyone. The magic of the world has also been almost erased and the mana in the air is also next to none. Od laguna has taken away all divine protections and has abandoned the world. So will now Subaru be able to protect his loved ones in this cruel world?

Subaru and co. are on their way to the Pleiades Watchtower to meet the Sage and ask for his help in reverting the effects of the Authorities of Gluttony and Lust.
